One-Day Stained Glass Workshop
Saturday 14th November or Sunday 15th November
Service Description
A relaxed, hands-on day in a small class with Anna Conti, a stained glass artist of over 35 years. No experience needed. Choose one of three techniques when you book: LEADED PANEL – Learn to cut glass, lead up, solder and cement, and take home a finished 6–7 piece abstract panel or mirror. This one involves long periods of standing and needs reasonable strength in hands and wrists. COPPER FOIL 2D & 3D – The "Tiffany" technique. Make light catchers, flowers, stars, birds, angels or small boxes from templates (or bring a simple idea of your own). Includes more soldering, so may not suit anyone prone to asthma. MOSAIC – The gentlest place to start, with no glass cutting needed. Make a mosaic mirror, coasters, pot stand or mini window. WHAT'S INCLUDED - All tools and materials - Unlimited tea and coffee all day - Small class sizes for plenty of one-to-one help GOOD TO KNOW - 10.30am–4pm with a half-hour lunch break. Please bring a packed lunch. - Red, dark purple and pure orange glass aren't included but can be bought on the day at trade price (usually £1–3). - Not sure which technique suits you? Cancellation Policy
If a workshop can't go ahead, you can move to another date with space or receive a full refund. Once booked, you can transfer to another workshop up to two weeks before your date, if space allows, for a £20 fee per person per day. Cancellations more than two weeks before the workshop receive a 50% refund. Cancellations within two weeks are non-refundable unless someone else takes your place. Gift vouchers can't be exchanged for cash. If no suitable workshop can be found, your voucher will be extended by a year.
